Today is American Business Women’s Day during Hispanic Heritage Month, so of course we have to highlight our very own Jenney Hernandez! We have so many reasons to celebrate Jenney! Originally from Puerto Rico, she joined WH+P in 2008 and became partner in 2020. Her skills in management and finance make her invaluable to the team, but what truly makes her special is her attitude, personality, bright spirit, and unwavering support for each person of WH+P. Jenney, thank you for making every day fun and bringing light to the office. We are all better because of you 🧡

Alex graduated from Florida International University and has been with WH+P since 2017. As the Community Team Manager, she works directly with developers and manages a team to complete large-scale residential projects across all of South Florida. Thank you, Alex! We appreciate all of your hard work and everything you do for us!

Our Shaylin Castillo has been awarded the 2023 Exceptional Emerging Professional Award by the Florida Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA)! This honor is awarded to a landscape architect who represents the highest standard of excellence and is in the early stage of their professional life. After graduating with high honors from the Landscape Architecture Program at FIU, Shay began her professional career, pursed licensure, and continued her dedication and involvement in ASLA. After joining WH+P in 2022, she has become an integral part of our team as a designer and graphics leader. She has continued to work with students and served ASLA Florida in the following roles: Member-at-Large for Emerging Professionals, Public Relations and Marketing Chair, and Design Awards Council leader. This 10-month program was developed by William Ronco, Ph.D., the President of Gathering Pace, Inc., and focuses on developing skills from communicating, writing, and presenting, to managing CA and CD.
